Availability of approximately $584,000 in funding from federal and state grants allocated to the City to address owner occupied residential repair needs for low to moderate income households throughout the City of West Palm Beach. This limited funding is made available through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP). In addition, subject to budget approval by City Commission, the City of West Palm Beach will make available approximately $300,000 in HOME Investments Partnership Program (HOME) funds for Homebuyer Assistance. The Housing Stabilization Program provides one-time funding not to exceed $3,000 for eligible applicants to obtain safe, decent and affordable rental housing within West Palm Beach city limits. Financial assistance may include first and last month’s rent.
